Climate Change Workshops

The science & reality of climate Change

Climate Change, resulting from excessive green house gases from burning fossil fuels, is resulting in extreme weather events like floods and droughts. it is also responsible for acidification of the oceans, depletion of the water table, decreasing yields from agriculture and a host of other repercussions. It is important that every person in general and students in specific understand the science and reality if climate change. this is preparation for a world that will see increasing incidents of unpredictable weather events. students and indeed all of us need to prepare to adapt and mitigate the effects of climate change.

the climate change workshop helps us understand the 'science and reality of climate change'.

the workshop is conducted over a 5-6 hour period along with a workbook that the students take away. this is an interactive workshop that will ensure total understanding of the science and reality of climate change. here are some extracts of the workbook.
